Happy Day 31! I’m grateful for this #write31days journey. Thank you for joining me. It’s been an adventure since we left the no-FLY zone. Now it’s time to celebrate.

Woo-hoo! And yes, I am dancing.

I hope you’ve had a happy landing. What destination were you hoping for? You may have wanted to land in a new opportunity, a new relationship or a new perspective on life.

As I taxi on the runway of God’s grace, amazing comes into view.

I see God’s strength.

The Almighty welcomes us. The promise in Isaiah 40:31 paves our way. As we wait on the Lord and trust Him, we receive new strength. I don’t know what you’ve encountered over the last few weeks. But I pray you’ve also received encouragement – courage to face what concerns you today.

Fear not, my friend. God is able.

I see His faithfulness.

For me, completing this 31-day challenge was made possible by the faithfulness of God. He never fails. He can get you through your challenges too. Sometimes we land some place different from what we desire. Other times, we receive more than we can imagine.

Either way, lean hard, my friend. His grace is sufficient.

I see His Sovereignty and Love.

Beyond these 31 days, the unexpected and the unwanted may try to blur our vision. Being brave and trusting God may become difficult. But remember, the eagle – he had to learn how to FLY.  When our steps of faith are unclear, we can follow the imprint of God’s word.

After all, He confirmed our flight in Christ.

He gives grace to meet us where we are. Hopefully, we’ll respond by continuing to learn how to fear not, lean hard and yield completely. It is certainly a process; but may we never forget how to soar.

If we do, God invites us to have a restoration conversation. It prevents us from losing our place in His plan.

And for the FLYer in us, losing that place is not an option. His will is the landing worth fighting for. So continue to FLY.

Into the safety of His Arms.

Above every hindrance to His plan.

To rise and meet the destiny He designed just for you.

It is a landing to celebrate. It is marked by surrender to the wonder of His love. Grace landings are best.

Enjoy your new destination. I’ll return with a new weekly post on Tuesday, November 15.

In the meantime, feel free to keep the conversation going. I hope you’ll continue to enjoy and share the posts in the It’s Time to FLY series.  Thanks again for joining me. May you reach higher levels of hope for the heart and joy to the soul.

  1. Thanks again Joy for this inspiration, I enjoyed the journey. I plan to return to the manual, since life at times involves several “trips” and I sometimes need a “refresher”/ reminder of how to F.L.Y.

    1. Hi Lyn! I join you in thanking God for teaching us how to FLY. Come back anytime. The lessons and The Teacher will be here!
