When walking by faith becomes difficult, it’s a good time to learn how to FLY!
We’re on Day 7 of our journey and it’s also a good time to check-in!
I can feel my wing span growing. I pray your faith is growing too. The first week of our flight, we’ve focused on the call to “Fear not.” This phrase, along with “do not fear” or “do not be afraid” is threaded through the scriptures.
As I consider recent events in the news (and in my life), I’m glad God gave us these spiritual vitamins. But I’m most grateful He gave us His Son. The more I learn to lean on Him, His faithfulness astounds.
“Lean hard” will be our focus next week. But first, let’s take a look at our current position.
Here’s where we stand (It’s our scripture focus this week): “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
Have you checked-in? If you’re new to “It’s Time to Fly” (or slightly behind in your reading), check out the #ItsTimetoFLY page to catch up. The “gallery” is a good place to start.
Are you a frequent FLYer? In three words (or less) describe you current position in the comment section. Here’s mine: I’m hopeful!
