For the past three years I’ve passed by a deck in progress.  Initially, the project caught my eye as I took a right turn to exit my neighborhood.  In the early phases, stacks of lumber and mounds of tarp were scattered throughout the yard. A few months later a structure...

I planned on a quick trip through the drive-thru. It was that moment when the day was winding down and I focused on feeding my family. I placed my order and proceeded to the payment window. “Ma’am you will have to wait 7 to 10 minutes for your order.” This...

A door slammed in the face of trouble is a welcome sound.  But closing the door on what I cherish is quite a different matter.  I faced this challenge as my sister Jackie and I spent this past weekend in Indiana closing on the sale of our childhood home. Since...

This weekend, I attended @proverbs31ministries Min This weekend, I attended @proverbs31ministries Ministries' #shespeaks2026 conference. I am grateful for this event that equips and encourages Christian women who write, speak, and lead.

Many days, God's calling feels so much larger than my ability (the way I feel in front of this huge #SheSpeaks sign😊). But most days, my podium is my keyboard.

I'm honored to share biblical truth alongside real-life experiences on the @first5app, the #yourdailybibleverse podcast, the @youversion Bible app, and the #joytothesoul blog. I'm so grateful for this experience. The journey continues. #liveyourjoystory
