Affirmation,  It's Time to FLY
Stand on your own two feet. This was my dad’s mantra.  He often shared his rallying words with my siblings and me. He wanted us to have a hearty work ethic and a sense of independence. These are certainly worthy goals. But when life was too much for my feet, I...

It's Time to FLY
We can lean on many things to support us through life — people, possessions or our own understanding.  As we meditate on (and memorize) Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV, may we trust in the Lord until we begin to FLY.  Have a great week! “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not...

Before Jesus rose from the dead, His first discipl Before Jesus rose from the dead, His first disciples didn't know they were in the first #holyweek.

On Sunday morning, the tomb where Jesus was buried was empty. Mary of Magdalene told Peter and John. They ran to the tomb to see for themselves. (John 20:1-6)

We have the benefit of retrospection. Jesus is the Risen Savior, and yet, we may have questions about something we're facing, too. But what happens when faith is a fill-in the blank moment? It's the topic on the blog this week. (See link in profile)

As we reflect on the events leading up to the Resurrection, we can be encouraged.

We may not be able to wrap our minds around a situation. But by faith, we can wrap our trust around what Scripture says about Jesus. (John 20:6-10)
